Vote for Public Art
Did you know Noisy Waters Mural Festival is a friendly art competition? The general public decides who will return next year to paint prize walls around the City of Bellingham. This is your chance to have a say in the art you want to see in your community!

HOW VOTING WORKS

1. MAKE THE ROUNDS
Attendees are encouraged to make their way around the festival and view all 8 of the competing artists. Look for the signs at each mural indicating who the artist of the painting is. Take note of your favorites.

2. GET VOTING TOKENS
Voting tokens are available to purchase for $1/token. Your purchase is considered a donation to the festival and Paper Whale, the non-profit producer of Noisy Waters and other community art events. There is a purchase limit of 10 tokens per person in order to keep the system as fair as possible. Noisy Waters volunteers also receive voting tokens, so this is a great way to give back to your community and get a complimentary voting token!
Voting tokens can be purchased in multiple locations:
-
Inside the Gift Shop tent at the north end of the festival
-
At the bar (along with our signature Noisy libations, including a limited edition Noisy Waters Vera Pale Lager)
-
From token sales volunteers walking around the festival
-
At the Voting Booth

3. CAST YOUR VOTE(S)!
Take your wooden voting tokens over the Voting Booth. You can't miss it! Place your tokens in the slot of the artist or artists you'd like to see paint large-scale murals in Bellingham next summer.
